[PT] Para quem viu o filme Drive, com Ryan Gosling, esta música dispensa apresentações. E talvez dispense também para quem não o fez, algo que recomendamos vivamente. Nightcall é, muito provavelmente, o tema mais reconhecido de Kavinsky, um DJ Francês que é considerado um dos pioneiros do género Retrowave, que se caracteriza pelo uso de sons largamente baseados em filmes, videojogos, desenhos animados e programas de televisão da década de 80.

Apesar de, segundo o artista, o verdadeiro significado da música não ser este, estamos em crer que há uma ocasião em que a mesma encaixa na perfeição: uma night drive com aquela pessoa especial ao nosso lado, sem qualquer destino definido. A própria letra da música parece aludir a isso em algumas partes, pelo que... lá teremos que fazer o teste, não é?

Nightcall is, most definitely, Kavinsky's most famous tune, a French DJ who is considered one of the pioneers of Retrowave, a genre whose signature sound is inspired by movies, videogames, cartoons and TV shows from the 80's.

According to the artist, the true meaning of this song is not this one, but we believe there's an occasion in which it's perfect to hear it: a night drive with that special someone at our side, with no destination whatsoever. Its lyrics suggest that at certain points, so... we have to test it out, right?
